BIGGER BITE
Growing in popularity is our coarse digestive biscuit crumb, much larger particle size for crunchier cheesecake bases.  Chocolate ginger oreo and vanilla flavoured crumb also available.
 
NEVERNUTS
Nimbus Foods have reported considerable interest in their Nevernut range, looks like a nut, tastes like a nut, but it ain't a nut!
Soya pieces flavoured to mimic Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Peanuts, Brazils and Almonds.   Chocolate coated or raw.  The solution to nut allergy issues without compromising taste.  Available at Griffin Foods.
 
SULTANA UPDATE
Turkish sources predict this year's Sultana harvest will be approx 60,000 tons short (from 300,000 to 240,000 tons) due to frost damage, heavy demands from Turkish alcohol producers as the european union has heavily curtailed imports from Iran.
Importers are switching from Iraman dried fruit to Turkish thus keeping prices firm.
 
MALLOW MOMENTS
The good people at Renshaws have indicated favourable response to their new marshmallow product 'Blendesi'.  Used with Renwhite solution it will produce fabulous mallow tea cakes and can be used in buttercream fillings.  Exciting recipes available at Griffin Foods.
